Sharon Lee

Sharon Lee loves photography and wants to share it with as many people as possible. She is a native of the Eastern Shore who grew up in Preston, MD and now resides in Easton MD.

She graduated from Salisbury University in 1981 with a BS in mathematics, all while still raising her 3 sons. After teaching high school math for 3 years, she went on to become a purchasing agent at Celeste Industries and then the Bartley Collection.

In 1994, Sharon started her own business as a personal assistant. When she and her husband, Dave, decided to retire at the end of 2014, Sharon decided she wanted to get serious about photography. She was always interested, but never got beyond “snapshots”. Dave gave her a Fuji X-E2 mirrorless camera for Christmas, and she was hooked! Basically self-taught, with a few workshops along the way Sharon continues to improve her photography skills.

She is treasurer of the Tidewater Camera Club in Easton, MD. Several of her photographs have placed in the monthly competitions. Her photograph “Flying Colors” was juried into an exhibition at the Academy Art Museum. She has also participated in juried exhibitions at the Maryland Federation of Art. Some of her photographs may be seen at sharonlee.smugmug.com or on her Etsy shop at PhotographybySVL.etsy.com
