Our Mission

Our mission is simple. Photo Easton photographers are giving the proceeds from the sale of their photographs to Food Banks and other charities. We are responding to the threat of the Covid-19 virus and related complications.

Many people and families need your help to survive with less stress and food insecurity. According to the Talbot County Hunger Coalition  - 1 in 5 children are food insecure. That means hungry.  1 in 10 residents are food insecure; 5% of our seniors live below the poverty line; 43% of Talbot Public School students receive free or reduced price school meals and to top off the list - 2% of Talbot’s residents use Food Stamps (SNAP)  All this,  in one of the wealthiest counties in the United States. And Note: These facts were tallied prior to the pandemic.  What could the stats possibly be now?  It is too early to say.

Donate, receive a photograph in return. Help somebody.

Here is how it works: Make a donation of an appropriate amount and receive a ready to hang framed canvas of equal value. You can make your donation 5 different ways: …from the top menu:

  1. Via ‘Our Photographers’ click on a face and view their profile; scroll down and see the beautiful photos they are donating for this effort. If you like a photo, click on the image and the system will show you the image, pricing and the all important “Add to Cart” button.

  2. Via ‘Donation Gallery’ view all of our photographers images in a ‘gallery’. Clicking on a photograph will show you the image, pricing and the all important “Add to Cart” button.

  3. Via ‘Gift Card’ - Click on the ‘Gift Card’ graphic and purchase a gift card for yourself or someone else as a Holiday Gift. Various gift amounts are offered. Gift cards will be honored until 2022.

  4. Via ‘Donate Now’ - this page will provide you with button to donate directly to the Mid-Shore Community Foundation.

  5. Via ‘Canvas’ - ‘Canvas’ supports anybody who has a photograph they would like printed on canvas by a professional master printer - gallery wrapped or framed.

Every purchase is a donation. The only money amount not donated to charity is the cost of some materials and shipping charges for USPS, FedEx, or UPS. We have a pick-up point on the Eastern Shore for completed or larger work that has been paid for. Or we can deliver the photo directly to you.

Our goal is to provide help in the form of many hundreds of meals for families who need the help. We expect our Photos For Food Banks Project to continue until the COVID-19 crisis has passed.

All donations and funds from the purchase of photographs on this website go to the Mid-Shore Community Foundation’s Covid-19 Relief fund.
